Scurry County Sheriff’s Department deputies, Department of Public Safety troopers, Scurry County EMS and the Snyder Fire Department responded to an 18-wheeler rollover just after 1 p.m. Monday on U.S. 84 West. The accident scene was three miles north of the Scurry-Mitchell county line near the former Inadale Gin facility. The driver, Jordan Sparks of Rowlett, was airlifted by Native Air to University Medical Center in Lubbock after being treated at the scene. He is currently listed in stable condition. His load of Sheetrock was scattered across both northbound lanes and Texas Department of Transportation crews were on the scene most of the day clearing the roadway. The accident remains under investigation.
